Mer Bear's First Birthday Party

It's been a month since her party- my sweet baby girl is a year old and we celebrated her year with a pink Dino party. We had so much fun- it just took a little diy magic and all of the help from family.

We blew up like 200+ balloons and tied them up into balloon arches with some foil ROAR! balloons. There were about fifty spray painted plastic dinos... that we then added photo clips to display photos of Mer Bear. I found the cutest tutu and little crown for her to wear with a Dino onsie (this tutu and this crown headband).

We did an afternoon party- so we just did finger foods. I made bruschetta (super easy: tomatoes, onion, garlic, olives, olive oil, salt, and pepper) and then we scoured Costco for some baguettes and cheese and crackers and dip. I also ordered cupcakes (vanilla, chocolate, carrot cake, lemon blueberry, red velvet, and strawberry cream) I order from this little bakery nearby- Born2Bake.

The absolute best thing though- was the custom smash cake I ordered from the same bakery. They made the most adorable pink and purple dino cake for the party. It was pretty much perfect... and Mer loved it.

I can’t believe she’s one year old now... Happy Birthday Mer Bear. We love you so much. ❤️
