Styled. Date Night on the Skinny.

I have been dieting. Nothing gimmicky or weird- just counting my calories and exercising a little bit. You know- that thing that everyone says eat less calories that you burn. Honestly... it has been working. It took me a week really to get into the flow of it and not feel burgeoned about it. My body has gotten use to me not snacking throughout the day and the slightly smaller portion sizes. It is slow and steady, but working. I have lost about five pounds in the past 2 weeks or so. I'll talk more about my process later, but I'm pretty excited that its working. So a sort of similar note... kind of... Valentine's Day is on Saturday. My hubby have reservations for a nice dinner and then drinks afterward downtown. I'm really really excited- but I'm also thinking about how to have a great time without putting my health and weight goals in jeopardy (how I hate the fact that mixed drinks have all those calories in them). It is all about moderation and balance. And on that note I do have a skinny sangria recipe for you that is nice to your weight as well as a bright red festive drink for the holiday. :D2015_0211_datenightattire

I like the classy look of a structured blazer with a cute little lace dress. Shop This Blazer

3 |  Snakeskin Clutch

I like putting a whole outfit together- and I hate when a large purse clashes with my well put together outfit. Shop This Clutch

4 | Subtle Snakeskin Heals

I love these funky snakeskin heals- I like that the snakeskin is subtle. Plus I really need closed-toe shoes in February. It is still a little too chilly to not wear leggings/tights.  Shop These Pumps

5 |  Tights

As I mentioned- it is still too chilly for me to comfortably walk around in a short dress and bare legs.  Shop These Tights

A set of sparkling earrings to match your necklace? Yes please.  Shop These Earrings from Le Tote | or This Pair
