Pampered Camping

It is snowing here in Denver again (well it was snowing yesterday- today it is just freezing)- generally from March through April its usually constant snow. Seemingly backwards... because it doesn't snow quite like these during the traditional winter/snow months. It does snow during those months... but March is usually Denver's snowiest month. Strange strange.Anyway... all the snow really have me craving the warmer spring and summer weather. And with that vacations to warm places and possibly some camping trips. That being said I really don't enjoy "real" camping. Old back injuries make it hard for me to sleep on the ground... and I get self conscious because curls just don't do so well without a little pampering so my hair always looks awful (if I do go camping- I trying to straighten my hair to reduce maintenance and stress). Yes- I grew up in a little town where its considered ridiculous to not like camping and roughing it on in the woods... but I just don't enjoy it. I love being out in nature and going on hikes... but I really love it when I have a cabin and a shower to return to.That being said... I pretty much fell in love with El Capitan Canyon in Santa Barbara, CA. How gorgeous are these cabins? I mean... they make a tent look wonderful. This is my time of camping.
