on my feet all day. and I love it.

So I'm a little embarrassed (but not super surprised) but I forgot to weigh myself today (maybe because I'm a little distracted about work?). Speaking about work and health (sort of) I switched over to a standing desk at work a couple days ago.It has been a little rough on my feet- but my back feels amazing. It is truly quite amazing the difference the standing desk has had on relieving my neck, shoulder, and back pain. I would definitely recommend transitioning to a standing desk to everyone (just make sure you get a floor mat to ease the amount of time it takes for your feet to get used to standing all day). This is my favorite standing desk I have found from Tinkering Monkey- but unfortunately they don't ship nationwide. I love the wood and the simplicity of it. It is awesome. Plus, they have thought of everything by adding the support foot rest so you pull up a tall chair for when your feet can no longer handle standing (but don't do it all day to get the benefits!).If you go out and decide to look for a desk- I have some informational ergonomic graphics for you (from Tinkering Monkey).Images found via Tinkering Monkey. Here are some articles about standing desks:Tinkering Monkey: Do Your Back a Favor, Get a Standing DeskForbes: Get Up, Stand Up, For Your Life
