Styled. Summer Floral Maxi.
If I can't style a piece so it is suitable for work... I tend to not ever wear it. Luckily for me- 'suitable for work' is pretty laid back at my office. I don't like wearing anything sleeveless, low-cut, too short, or just glaringly inappropriate. I'm pretty consistently wearing a jacket or cardigan of some sort over my sleeveless favorites. On the weekend though shoulders are bare in the summer... cause I hate being too hot or sweating. Yuck.Anyway- that being said I'm eyeing this bold floral print spaghetti strap maxi dress. I love the buttons down the front and the lace racer back. So cute. I've noticed a bold florals all over the place these days and I've been resisting them a little bit (lol). What is absolutely key to flaunting a beautiful bold print (floral or other) is to pair it with classic, simple pieces. Plus... how perfect would this dress be for a farmer's market? :)
1 | denim jacket
My trust denim jacket to ward off the frigid air of my office building and cover up my tank tops and sleeveless dresses. This is a pretty non-flashy piece that is easily paired with a bold print. Shop This Jacket

3 | flat sandals
Whether I pull on wedges or flat sandals with a maxi usually depends on my mood... but in general I really love the feel of flat light sandals with a maxi dress. I kind of feel a bit like a greek goddess with the mix of the flat minimal sandal with the long skirt. Shop These Sandals
4 | sparkly dangle earrings
I love the understated pink stone in these dangle earrings- they are fun but simple enough to not overwhelm the already bold look. Shop These Earrings
