My Little Brother's Wedding
My little brother got married a little over a month ago- and it was beautiful (and super fun). Plus- they had absolutely amazing photographers to capture all of it (but I didn't expect anything less as they themselves are wedding photographers). To experience right I've including the song they walked down the isle to- cause it all was a beautiful, sweet package.I was bridesmaid, while my hubby and my middle brother were groomsmen. It was a sunrise ceremony with the reception in the evening- slightly unusual structure, but it worked really well (especially for them as a couple).Mind you- waking up at 4am to get ready for the ceremony was a smidge rough- but totally worth it. I'll happily give them that. :)The ceremony was timed perfectly - with the sun rising behind the couple slowly as they said their vows and finally crested fully with the kiss. My brother shed a few sweet tears when he finally saw Tori in her wedding dress walking down the isle (which didn't leave a single dry eye).It was a really small ceremony with their close friends and immediately family. It was a sweet moment to see the sea of faces in the small little balcony- my grandparents and my parents all misty eyed and happy. :)My sweet grandmother (my mom's mom) made the long journey from Michigan to witness the wedding. We weren't sure her health would allow her to come- but she was adamant about coming (it was the cutest thing and so so sweet). My brother is my grandfather's namesake and was really close to him- he passed away about six years ago. My brother is to inherit my grandfather's wedding ring which my grandmother now wears on a necklace around her neck.In case I haven't mentioned this before- my siblings and I are super close... and tend to get a little weird when we are all together. We held it together for most the photos though. ;)The reception started later in the afternoon- in a pretty little botanic garden space. Even in the heat (Southern Utah is sooo hot) we had a blast!Kyle and my brother Kellen (who was the groomsman) did a choreographed dance to "What Does that Fox Say" that was awesome. Then letter on in the night the groomsmen all came out wear just their vests and pants... which was awkward and hilarious. My brother thought it was the greatest thing ever. They're just the cutest couple aren't they? I'm so so happy that my brother found such an awesome girl. Don't want to get to sappy- but seriously, I am just so happy to see my brother so happy and in love- and to see how much Tori loves him in return. Marriage is an incredible, marvelous, difficult journey- and I think they're perfect for each other.Which! On a fun side note- today is my sister-in-law's birthday! Happy birthday Tori! :Dphotos by : Isaiah & Taylor Photography
