Explored. The Source.
Over the weekend, my hubby and I visited The Source. It is this (highly talked about) food market in downtown Denver- in the RiNo (River North) District specifically- set up in an 1880's brick foundry. Very cool vibe. The Source houses 15 merchants... which are not all food based, but I know no other way to describe the place than to call it a food market. It has all sort of foodie based merchants like a bakery, grocery/floral market, cheese market, liquor store, and butcher's shop. The Source also as a couple restaurants... from a brewery to a taco shop to a sit down, wood-fired restaurant. Plus a coffee shop and bar. Oh and on top of that it has a bank, a photography studio, a graphic design studio, and a retail/art galleryΒ space. All of that with a industrial and oh so hipster vibe that is really fun and (actually) really laid back. It was a little intimidating walking in- but once you started walking around the shops and checking things out- it was perfectly comfortable and relaxed.
