Casual Spring Pieces. Styled.
So while it snowed a lot yesterday- almost all of the snow is gone today and we are back to fresh brisk weather!
1 | Denim Jacket
I pretty adamantly dislike wearing all denim... so my denim jacket only gets out of my closet when I'm wearing a dress/skirt or my khakis. I really do love denim jackets though- especially for spring- denim jackets keeps way the bite of the wind without making me feel confined and sweaty. Shop This Jacket
2 | Watermelon jersey top
I'm really loving all the watermelon/coraly tops I'm seeing in stores this spring... and I particularly love this drapey striped jersey top with a high low hem. Shop This Shirt
3 | braided belt
I'm loving belts as go-to easy-to-wear accessories- I love how they just finish my outfit more of the time and define my waist. Shop This Belt
4 | nude d'orsay flats
Hmm... so I love d'orsay flats. They're surprisingly comfortable for being so trendy... they just add a little class to a comfortable look. Plus a nude shoe goes with just about everything. Shop These Shoes
5 | simple necklace
Necklaces (for some reason) are not something I wear a lot... merely because I love scarves and will automatically reach for a scarf in the morning. Plus, I get tired of oversized blingy necklaces pretty quickly- but recently I discovered that I really really love delicate, simple necklaces. They go with so many things and they're low maintenance. Perfect for a casual spring outfit. Shop This Necklace
6 | skinny olive khakis
Jeans are my absolute without fail go to item in the closet- I'm definitely a tshirt and jeans girl- but I'm starting to feel a little bored with my standard jeans, tshirt, scarf, and flats look. I don't really want to sacrifice that comfort or that ease of getting ready in the morning- so I'm starting to swap out my jeans for khakis here and there to shake things up. I almost am starting to like them more than jeans (almost)... and these skinny khakis are my current favorites. Shop This Pair
