Currently Craving d'Orsay Flats.
I've seen the increasingly popular d'Orsay flats more and more lately... and last time I was wandering around DSW during my lunch break I tried a pair of them on. So cute. I almost bought them right then and there... but then my husband's voice asked me if there was room in the budget for this impulse but (his voice is starting to turn into my shopping conscious which I'm not sure how I feel about that). So with a sigh I put them back (very proud of myself) and went off to actually get my lunch. Ever since though I've been kind of craving them... and keep finding cute pairs online. I am planning to pick out a pair next month... which is only a few days away. :DThe current d'Orsay flat trend (or two piece flat... as I have also heard them called) is being credited these days to Jenni Kayne's d'Orsay flat which sits at the oh-so-chic (and personally completely unattainable) price of about $450. The d'Orsay style is considered the sexiest 'non-heal' shoe and more sophisticated than the ballet flat... which I love as I struggle to last a full day in heals. I think they look put together and makes a simpler outfit look a little bit more updated (like a pair of heals can- but without the personal discomfort). I love that.So as I have daydreamed over a pair I have collected some of my favorites to share with you. The great news is that you don't have to spend $450 to wear this adorable style- and I have collected more reasonably priced flats here, but I had to show off the pair everyone is talking about as well.SHOP1.
