Ugh... Lip gloss. I'm such a sucker for lip gloss. No joke- here at my computer desk sitting right in front of me now are three different brands of lip gloss and I know there are at least two more in my purse... and countless more hidden around in drawers and makeup bags and totes and coat pockets and and car glove box (mind you they are not ALL different brands... but the three I'm looking at right now at my desk are). On a side note... its more that I hate to throw out lip gloss and one of the three I'm looking at right now I know I hate how sticky it is and one is pretty much gone... but I just can't throw it away until I squeeze out every last little drop.That being said... I'm also super picky about what I put on my lips. If it is too sticky or thick or shiny or sparkly... or too anything it just becomes one of those tubes of gloss that I struggle to throw away but will never use. That's way I keep buying them I guess. I found one that I loved... but then they discontinued my color. GRRR... so I keep buying them until I land on one I love and I use it until its dead. Since I so very very rarely wear lipstick (for some reason it feels like a huge hassle to me... I hate how it smears off on my husband when I kiss him and my leaves weird red marks on my coffee mugs) - lip gloss lets be add just a little extra color and shine and doesn't leave a mess on the things I put my lips on (like my coffee mug and my hubby's lips).Woah... there is quite the lead in to this product review... but quite simply, I love this lip gloss. I received it as a sample in my Birchbox this month. It is pretty much exactly what my other favorite is like BUT it has a little minty tingly-ness that I'm super in love with (it claims that the tingle is from a 'plumping' formula... but my lips are pretty plump so I can't offer any advice on that). It is just tiny bit sticky that I can feel it- but I honestly wouldn't use the word 'sticky.' I also love the application which is a paddle as opposed to a brush or a squeeze tube. Plus... they have the color I have been missing so much (floating rose if you are curious)!

The one major draw back in the price... oh boy steep! I will still be praying that my old favorite will come out with a similar shade to what I've been missing. This one will have to be a special occasion-esque... I love it so much that I'll probably be bad and keep ordering it.
