One Woman Army by Kate Earl

I heard this song a recently and thought it was a beautiful song. I liked the (initial) message it carried about standing up for the man you love and being his defender and protector. Sometimes as a wife (and a girl) I get all wrapped up in the idea of man being the hero and strong one in the relationship- but my husband needs me to be his defender too. I'm not saying that my husband is weak or anything- in all actuality, he's my rock. Apart from my father and grandfathers, my husband is the strongest and most stable man I have ever met. He spoils me and is always there for me.That being said- my husband is human and needs support and protection too. He usually needs that support and protection in much different ways than I do. I think that's part of being married and being happily married- understanding the give and take and the needs of the person you are married too.Then I saw the music video and realized there is a slightly different meaning to the song- but one that is just a impactful and meaningful.
