Distracting From The Now
Mondays are the worst... particularly after you have spent the week prior in Disney World. My hubby and I arrived home late last night and went straight to bed... which made for one of those strange mornings when you kind of expect to wake up somewhere else than where you actually wake up. So now I'm doing my thing at work and staring at my string of emails and todo list and don't want to jump fully back into real life. I kind of just wish we were still on vacation and jumping on the boat to head over to Magic Kingdom. Normally I slide back into a work schedule smoother so I'm not sure what is making me so remorseful over my vacation ending- it could quite possibly be the fact that the excitement for the vacation has been building for several months now and I wasn't disappointed with our trip (Disney World kind of lived up to its name which seems to be an rarity these days sometimes) so now I have no major vacation that I'm looking forward to anymore. That being said I was reminded of this lovely little quote (which albeit made me laugh... as it is from a Disney Pixar movie) but the reminder was a nice one and seemed rather fitting. I have big plans and grand ideas and all of them were just on hold while I was on vacation. I need to focus my attentions back on those plans and jump back into real life. :)
